The Perse School was founded in Cambridge in 1615 in the name of Dr Stephen Perse, and quickly established its academic credentials by sending a regular flow of scholars to Caius College, Cambridge. A Perse education is based on three pillars – academic excellence, developing the whole person and extra-curricular development. Our vision is to love learning and strive for the greater good. This is underpinned by our four values: Intellectual Curiosity, Endeavour, Breadth and Balance, and Respect for One Another and the Environment. The Perse offers a world-class education at an affordable price.
The Perse School Singapore embraces the traditions of The Perse School Cambridge and is benchmarked against its high standards. The School offers children aged six to eleven years old an inspirational learning environment that delivers academic excellence and a broad development of personal skills. Perse children will engage in a broad-based and innovative curriculum that closely follows the Cambridge Primary Programme, incorporating Singapore Maths and Mandarin as a second language. Supported by the use of cutting-edge educational technologies including 1 to 1 Apple iPads and LEGO robotics, we offer a learning experience that is engaging, cross-curricular and relevant.

Beyond the classroom there is a wealth of opportunity in music, sport and robotics, along with a vibrant programme of various clubs and societies. Pupils can pursue their interest in sports, including football, tennis and swimming. Our various creative arts programmes featuring music, film-making, public speaking and debates set the stage for cultivating individual talents and confident self-expression. There are also clubs dedicated to maths, science as well as LEGO Robotics and coding for those keen to hone their analytical and thinking skills and build on what they have learnt in the classroom.
Through these opportunities, pupils take on more responsibilities and develop important life skills such as organisation, communication and creativity.
Our pupils can look forward to stimulating trips, activities and social events throughout the year. They are encouraged to explore the rich cultural life of Singapore and engage with the local community while keeping an open mind as global citizens.
