This new sports bar for adults is also a fun thing to do with kids in Bangkok.

Bangkok has plenty of sports bars, but not many that are family-friendly. The Upper Deck Sports Bar is a newly opened two-floor venue at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 20 that blends big-match energy with interactive play zones, including an entire floor dedicated to high-tech golf simulators. Why we love it:
I recently checked it out myself and what immediately stood out was how much thought went into making this more than just a place to watch sports.
The headline feature? The golf simulator zone. Powered by Foresight Sports tech, the setup is seriously impressive but still surprisingly easy for beginners and kids to use. The whole floor is dedicated to virtual golf bays where you can swing, compete and laugh your way through a round without worrying about Bangkok heat or sudden rain.
What I appreciated most is that this isn’t an intimidating, members-only golf vibe. It’s designed so families and first-timers can jump in comfortably. Kids can have a go, parents can actually enjoy themselves and people who don’t know how to play golf like myself can also still have fun. No one feels out of place.
Beyond the simulators, the space is huge with over 900 sqm and packed with entertainment: more than 20 FHD screens for live sports, digital darts, pool tables and multiple seating zones depending on your mood. There’s also a dedicated kids’ room, which is always a win if you’re trying to stretch your outing a little longer. The kids’ room provides a safe and engaging space for children with kids’ meals and welcomes family celebrations, including options for hosting children’s birthday parties.
And for adults food-wise, expect an international comfort menu like pizza, yum woon sen, quesadilla, buffalo wings, pork ribs, to name a few! And a solid drinks list, plus an open-air rooftop area with the BTS Skytrain running past right in front of your face. You won’t get a view like this anywhere else in Bangkok!
The verdict:
If your family loves a bit of friendly competition or you just want a sports bar where bringing kids doesn’t feel awkward, The Upper Deck Sports Bar is well worth adding to your Bangkok weekend list. The golf simulator floor alone is reason enough to visit.
