Whether you’re looking for a new date-night destination, a place to catch up with friends, or simply somewhere that feels a little more grown-up than your usual go-tos, The Consul Club is one to put on your radar.
What is it?:

Bangkok has no shortage of places to eat, drink and unwind, but every now and then, a new spot opens that feels different. Enter The Consul Club, a newly launched social club perched high above Sukhumvit that’s quickly becoming a go-to hangout for those who want a grown-up night out without the fuss.
Why we love it:

Designed as a modern social club, The Consul Club blends members-only spaces with areas that are open to everyone. While certain lounges and rooms are reserved for members, the restaurant and bar welcome non-members, making it an easy addition to your date-night or post-bedtime plans.
At the heart of the experience is food. The menu focuses on modern Chinese cuisine, with familiar flavours reworked in a more contemporary, share-friendly style. It’s the kind of place where you order a few dishes for the table, linger longer than planned and let the evening unfold naturally.
As the night goes on, the mood shifts. Live music leads the evenings and is a big part of The Consul Club’s identity, with DJs and curated playlists and live jazz performances. It feels social without being chaotic. Lively, but still parent-friendly if you’re easing your way back into nights out.
And then there’s the view. Sitting high above Sukhumvit, the city stretches out in every direction, giving the space an unmistakable “Bangkok moment” feel. Especially after dark where the Thai capital turns into a whole different city.
The verdict:

Whether you’re looking for a new date-night destination, a place to catch up with friends, or simply somewhere that feels a little more grown-up than your usual go-tos, The Consul Club is one to put on your radar.
