This kid friendly attraction takes you above Bangkok with glass floors, rooftop views and immersive experiences across multiple levels.
While Bangkok is packed with skyscrapers, this is the one where you can step onto a glass floor and feel like you’re walking in the sky, with the whole city right beneath your feet.
You might think it’s the tallest building in Bangkok, but it’s actually not. It held the title when it first opened in 2016, before being surpassed by Magnolias Waterfront Residences at IconSiam, which stands slightly taller at 317 metres. King Power Mahanakhon comes in just behind at 314 metres, but what it offers is way more exciting than just height.
Right in the heart of the Sathon area, this 78-storey building stands out with its cool pixelated, spiral design.
Inside, you’ll find immersive experiences, interactive zones and, of course, the famous SkyWalk, where you can step onto a glass floor and see Bangkok from a whole new perspective.
From sky-high thrills to sweeping city views, it’s a place packed with fun things to do in Bangkok with kids.
What is King Power Mahanakhon?

This is one of Thailand’s most recognisable modern landmarks, combining architecture, entertainment and lifestyle experiences in one vertical destination.
At 314 metres tall, it was once the tallest building in Thailand and remains one of the best places to take in sweeping views of the Thai capital.
The highlight is the Mahanakhon SkyWalk, a multi-level observation experience that takes you from indoor viewing decks to an open-air rooftop with uninterrupted 360° views of Bangkok.
Inside the experience: what to expect
While there are several floors to explore, here are some of the highlights.
1st Floor: Mahanakhon lobby & immersive start
Your journey begins at the lobby with VR experiences such as tuk-tuk simulations and sky adventures. Think racing through a futuristic version of Bangkok in a virtual tuk-tuk or feeling like you’re gliding high above the city like a bird.
Then, you’ll take the elevator up to the higher floors. Just a heads-up: even the elevator ride is an experience in itself. It moves pretty fast, but instead of staring at plain walls, you’re surrounded by immersive animations.
4th Floor: SkyVerse digital experience

This level features an immersive exhibition with a theme, Thailand WonderVerse. It combines digital art with cultural elements inspired by Thailand’s heritage. You can explore vivid projections, interactive installations and multimedia displays that offer a modern interpretation of the country’s identity and creativity.
75th Floor: Mahanakhon Bangkok I-Tilt

This floor is home to the Bangkok I-Tilt experience. Here, you can test your head for heights by securely leaning outward from the building at a 65-degree angle above the city.
78th Floor: Rooftop, glass tray & sky beach

One of the highlights of the experience is the open-air rooftop deck. It features the Glass Tray, a transparent platform that extends high above the city and allows you to look straight down from 314 metres above ground. There’s also a bar where you can relax with a drink while enjoying the skyline.
Mahanakhon Cube: Dining

Located next to the landmark tower, this multi-level space complements the experience with a range of dining options. On the ground floor, visitors will find a shared dining area with a mix of international dishes, while the second floor features a curated Thai street food hub with well-known local vendors in an air-conditioned setting.
