Keep your little ones entertained at home with this little bubble trick
While Bangkok has plenty of things to do with kids, there are always days when you just want to stay in and have a fun time at home.
Instead of leaving them on screens, you can try this simple magical bubble activity.
It’s easy to set up, a little bit playful and doubles as a mini science moment without feeling like one.
A simple bubble recipe
These magical bubbles are a bit stronger than normal ones, which means your little one can actually try catching and bouncing them.
It feels like a tiny bit of magic, but it’s really just a simple mix you can make in minutes.
You’ll need:
- 4 tablespoons of water
- 1 tablespoon of dish soap
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
What to do:
Mix everything together until the sugar fully dissolves. Once it’s ready, grab a straw or bubble wand and start blowing bubbles. Then, watch them float and then try to catch them.
Parent tip:
If you wear a soft glove or even a clean sock on your hand, you can gently catch and bounce the bubbles without them popping.
