Join us on 26 February (6–9pm) at Alliance Française de Bangkok for a practical, future-facing panel:
“How Do We Raise Children With Critical Thinking Skills in the Age of AI?”
In a world where answers are instant and AI is everywhere, this conversation will unpack how we help kids learn to think and not just consume. You’ll walk away with concrete, age-appropriate strategies you can use at home and in the classroom: how to teach children to question what they see online, spot misinformation and “confident-sounding” errors, build independent opinions and use AI as a tool without outsourcing their brains. With perspectives from education, policy, youth participation and media, expect real-world ideas you can apply immediately, with a fresh sense of confidence about navigating what’s next.
Questions that will be answered on the night
- How “critical thinking” looks at different ages (primary vs tween vs teen) and what’s realistic to expect
- Simple questions kids can ask to test what they’re seeing online (before they believe or share it)
- How to spot confident-sounding AI mistakes, misinformation, and persuasion tactics
- Practical ways to help kids form their own opinions (without turning every conversation into an argument)
- At-home habits that build independent thinkers: curiosity, reflection, and evidence-based reasoning
- What schools can do differently when AI can generate essays, summaries, and homework answers
- How to teach kids to verify sources and separate facts, opinions, and “influencer energy”
- How to use AI as a learning partner (to deepen thinking) instead of a shortcut (that replaces thinking)

- Policy, youth, and community leaders interested in what platforms, government, and institutions can do to support children at scale.
- Anyone working with kids (coaches, mentors, tutors, enrichment providers) who wants tools to help young people question, reason, and decide for themselves.
