Head down to the Singapore River Festival for dragon boats, light shows, an alfresco cinema and oodles of riverside fun for the whole family...
You’ll often find us making our leisurely way through Sunday morning with a great coffee, delish brunch and a bunch of happy scooting kids down at a family-friendly cafe by the Singapore River, so we don’t need much persuasion to sail over to Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay this weekend for the annual Singapore River Festival. We’ve been taking a sneak peek of the fun lined up for families in this year’s ever-colourful event…
Headlining this fab fest is the Lah Bazaar which, other than representing one of Singapore’s favourite phrases, also stands for “Local At Heart” or “Longzong Also Have”. Shop and eat at Singaporean brands at this outdoor market at different spots spanning the river and have a go at some of the carnival games and rides. This year’s fest is going cashless with EZ-link so top-up those cards at the blue booths you see scattered about and snag yourself some limited edition swag in the form of Hello Kitty Halloween merch and more. Come lah!
