Mysterious wildlife clues have surfaced in the heart of Orchard Road, and Ranger Buddies Al and Min need your kiddos’ help to investigate. We’ve got all the mission details here.
The wild is full of mysteries – which also means there are more missions for the Ranger Buddies and your adventurous kiddos to embark on. We’ve got word that the newest mission involves a spooky sound dome and night visions (just to name a few), and will end with our little adventurers discovering the forest’s hidden song.
Up for the challenge? Gear up and get ready for Ranger Buddies’ Secrets of the Wild mission, happening at Forum The Shopping Mall (open foyer, main entrance, and B1 atrium) from 23 October till 1 November 2026. Here’s the full mission debrief.
1. Guess the animal hidden in the spooky sound dome
Collect your secret melody card and step into the spooky sound dome. Here, you’ll need to follow clues in the dark to discover the animals that are hiding in there. Listen closely: is it an owl’s hoot, or a frog’s croak? Stamp out the wrong notes in your secret melody card – this is important, the answers on your card will help you figure out the forest’s hidden song at the end of the mission.

2. Spot the animals in the dark
Now here’s an exciting one: this activity will give you the chance to look through different eyes. Head to the dark viewing box, you’ll get to see the forest through ‘owl vision’ and ‘pit viper vision’. Toggle between both to spot the animals hidden in the forest. You’ll see that some animals are easier to spot through an owl’s eyes, whereas others are more visible to a pit viper’s eyes.
3. Find the camouflaged animals
Some animals hide in the dark, while some hide in plain sight. How? By disguising themselves, and some are really good at it too! Keep your eyes peeled and look carefully: check the leaves, the tree trunks, and even the shadows. You can try the deer-vision goggles too to see if it makes these animals easier to spot.
4. Join the beak challenge
Did you know that not all birds’ beaks are the same? They come in different shapes and sizes to make finding specific foods easier. Match the beak shape to the food that it’s best suited for to get answers for your mission punch card.
Completed your secret melody card? It’s time to unlock the forest’s secret song.
Final chance to double check your secret melody card, because that’s the final clue to helping you uncover the Secrets of the Wild. Once that’s done, make your way to the giant piano, where you’ll see colour and note-coded keys. Step on the piano keys that match the notes left on your mission punch card to get the hidden forest song.
And there you have it, mission accomplished! As with all Ranger Buddies missions, all little rangers who complete their mission get to bring home an exclusive mission badge. Just present your completed card to the on-site crew to redeem yours. But be quick – stocks are limited, so complete your mission ASAP to snag your badge.

The fun doesn’t end when the missions are completed. The Ranger Buddies crew have more prepared for you and the fam during the weekends. There’s the live insect camouflage workshop, where the kiddos can get up close and personal with little masters of disguises.
