More than just an indoor playground, Petite Tayo KidsClub is one that’s designed with working parents in mind!
The school holidays are finally here – and the kids are definitely looking forward to spending the next few weeks with nothing but fun and games. This also means that it’s high time we as parents start planning some play dates and family outings to keep the little ones entertained.
Check out Petite Tayo KidsClub for a fun day out with the kids
Located within Kallang Wave Mall is Petite Tayo KidsClub, a huge indoor playground (1,500sqft in size!) that follows the theme of a popular Korean kids animation – Tayo the Little Bus. It’s equipped with eight different activity zones as well as four experiential play spaces, all of which are suitable for kids aged one to six years-old. Here are the activities and play areas that we love most!
Road Circuit
A crowd favourite, your kids will get to learn all about road signals and basic road safety rules on this circuit that goes around Petite Tayo. There’s even a petrol kiosk at the side of the circuit – just in case your kid’s ride runs out of fuel!
Rock Climb Wall
This toddler-friendly climbing wall features a variety of obstacles which will put your kid’s arms and legs to the test!
Tayo’s Music Room
This play space is all about fun songs and melodies! Here, your creative kiddo can let loose and unleash their tiny dancer talents!
Lani’s Play Room
If your kid loves Lego blocks, then this is the perfect place for them! This room is filled with building blocks, so kids can exercise their creativity and build anything they dream of.
There’s also a Drop-off Programme that comes with fun learning classes
Called the Curious Captains Classes, Petite Tayo offers weekly classes that allows kids to learn through play. They can choose between Art Wednesdays and Science Thursdays (we heard that Music Fridays are coming soon!), with different lessons to be learned every week. All classes are taught by trained PlayGuides, who will be able to offer personalised lessons to each child thanks to the small class sizes.
The best part: you can work while watching your kids play!
Working parents, you’ll be delighted to know that there’s even a dedicated working area at Petite Tayo, which features high speed wi-fi and private working pods with full views of the play areas. This is perfect for busy parents – you can watch your kids have fun while making sure all work deadlines are met too!
Oh, and did we mention that you can get coffee or tea here at just $2.50? The working area also has a pantry where you can find light snacks… Because multitasking is thirsty work!
Remember to book your slots before heading over
While walk-ins are allowed at Petite Tayo, it’s highly recommended that you book a slot to avoid disappointment. Each play session is an hour long and there are fixed sessions every day. You can check out the timings on Petite Tayo’s website. If you have a feeling that your family will be regular visitors to this cool playground, you may want to consider getting a membership as all members can snag a 20% discount for every admission.
