Students already love their brand new state-of-the-art campus, saying that there’s “never a dull moment” here.
You’ve probably already heard that One World International School’s (OWIS) new Digital Campus has finally opened its doors. Guess what, the HoneyKids team recently got the chance to visit this campus to see how OWIS uses the latest technology to enhance the holistic education it offers.
Here’s what we saw during our tour:
An ultra-modern campus driven by kindness
During the tour, we got to visit some of the 22 skills studios, classrooms fitted with interactive learning tools, the huge black box theatre, libraries, and vibrant play areas. Grade 8 student Chloe finds that the school’s digital tools make lessons more engaging, and allow her to collaborate with her peers better. “Thanks to the facilities, we often get to showcase our talents too,” she added.
Fellow OWIS student, Ege from Grade 6, agrees. He described the Digital Campus’ sports facilities as “the heart of the school”, being spaces that allow students to make friends, stay active, and enjoy outdoor activities.
We could really see how the campus’ high-tech tools make learning more interesting while fostering close bonds between students. It’s exactly as per what OWIS’ Principal of Lower School Mrs. Angela Henderson, said, “The Digital Campus is guided by our reputation of a kindness-driven approach that promotes both a lifelong love of learning and a culture of inclusion.”
Keen to visit OWIS Digital Campus?
Good news: the school is currently conducting tours from Mondays to Saturdays. Just book a tour via OWIS’ website, or you can always sign up to join its next open house.
