What Sets This School Apart
Established in 2008, we are reputed for our thoughtfully-priced, values-led international education. We provide a future-focussed academic pathway comprising globally-recognised, inquiry-based curricula.
At OWIS Nanyang and OWIS Digital Campus, students progress from the IB Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) in Early Childhood and Primary, to Modified Cambridge and Cambridge IGCSE in Secondary School, and then IBDP (IB Diploma Programme) in pre-university Grades 11 and 12. (OWIS Newton Campus will follow the same pathway for Early Childhood to Grade 5, and is currently a candidate school* for the IB PYP.)
OWIS Nanyang and OWIS Digital Campus have been the proud recipient of the following Gold awards at the HoneyKids Singapore Education Awards:
Gold (2024) - Best New Campus - OWIS Digital Campus
Gold (2021 - 2023) - Most Affordable International School - OWIS Nanyang
Silver (2022 & 2023) - Diversity and Inclusive Community Award - OWIS Nanyang
At OWIS, we are proud of our diverse, international community of students with over 70 nationalities at our campuses. We foster kindness and our values-driven school nurtures academic and all-round excellence through compassion, integrity and commitment. We enable students to be socially-aware global citizens when they graduate from school.
We have a 30% cap on any one nationality, so our student body is guaranteed to include students from different backgrounds, cultures and geographic locations.
Our arts, sports and service programmes are all mindfully-intertwined to develop the whole child.
Exciting New Developments
At OWIS Nanyang, three students achieved the prestigious Cambridge “Top in the World” award in the June 2025 IGCSE Examinations for Mathematics and Additional Mathematics — the first time the campus has received this global recognition.
Students also showcased their creativity through productions such as Romeo and Juliet and Once Upon a Crime, as well as performances during MADD (Music, Art, Drama and Dance) Week. Meanwhile, sports teams secured multiple ACSIS medals across football, basketball, volleyball and badminton.
At OWIS Digital Campus, Punggol, the school welcomed Mr Christopher Jupp as its new Deputy Principal for Secondary School. With leadership experience spanning schools around the globe, he brings deep expertise in both Cambridge and IB Diploma programmes. The Digital campus community also came together for International Day in March 2026, a vibrant celebration of OWIS's diverse student body, featuring cultural performances, international food stalls, interactive booths and a colourful student flag parade.
Our newest campus, OWIS Newton in central Singapore, opened in August 2025 and is intentionally designed to meet the needs of young learners aged 3 to 11. Its child-friendly spaces nurture curiosity and independence through structured play and hands-on learning experiences. As OWIS's third campus in Singapore, Newton shares the same kindness-led, inquiry-based approach to learning that defines the OWIS experience across all campuses.
School Culture
Students and teachers are happy and engaged and this shows in the way they interact with one another and their work in the classrooms. Our parents are well informed and have a good understanding of their role within the community and you will often see parents around the school in a volunteer capacity. Our student body is culturally and nationally diverse with over 70 nationalities represented at our campuses and we celebrate international mindedness through our events. Every student in our school feels that they are an integral part of the school and this is something that we celebrate.
