Preschool should be fun, which is why we’re loving White Lodge’s hands-on approach to learning. Psst.. read on to find out how you can get your enrolment fee waived!
Choosing the right preschool can be tough, especially when there are tons of choices out there. Not to mention the fact that preschool could determine your child’s outlook on education as a whole — eek! That’s why it’s important they get started on the right foot, and above all, have a ball of a time doing it. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: we’re such big fans of White Lodge International Preschool & Childcare’s approach to learning. We love that the teachers work hard to make it an adventure for the kids, rather than just simply going to school. Want to know more? Here’s how White Lodge makes learning fun…
Awesome arts & craft classes
At White Lodge, kids learn how to stretch their creativity through fun, guided arts and crafts activities. Not only will they learn how to colour within the lines, they’ll also learn that it’s a-ok to be messy too. All-important stuff for raising creative kids who like to express themselves!
Cool sensory activities
From the time they are born through to toddlerhood, kids use all five senses to learn and make sense of the world around them. At White Lodge, the teachers understand that this is an important part of early childhood development, which is why they promote sensory play and activities for kids to actively use their senses! From sand play to outdoor play, messy play and water play, your bub will definitely enjoy getting their hands (and sometimes their feet) dirty!
Creative Mandarin classes
We all know that kids benefit from bilingualism, but how do you make it more engaging for toddlers? The folks at White Lodge are experts at this – through their twice daily Mandarin classes, they’ll learn the language through storytelling, singing songs, play-acting, art projects and more! The school follows the Singapore Mandarin framework, so you can be sure they’ll have a strong foundation and continue their love for Mandarin throughout their educational journey.
Singing and dancing at movement classes
Kiddos love singing and dancing, so they’ll be happy to know it’s a regular thing at White Lodge. From dancing along to their favourite tunes to learning how to play ACTUAL instruments, they’ll develop their motor skills, listening skills and coordination. How’s that for a cool lesson?
Through these activities and more, White Lodge students would undoubtedly have an appreciation for learning, foster a sense of independence and identity, and most importantly, confidence and curiosity.
The White Lodge curriculum
Deeply rooted in the most current theories and research in Early Childhood education practices, White Lodge bases its curriculum on the principles of High Scope, Reggio Emilia and Howard Gardner. The best part? It understands that each child is unique, so it considers every student’s interests and developmental needs and milestones.
But don’t just take our word for it — to get the full White Lodge International Preschool & Childcare experience for yourself, you’ll want to book a tour (virtual tours are available too!) or even a trial class at any of its eight locations! And psst… if you enroll before 30th Oct 2020, you’ll get your enrolment fee waived at any White Lodge centre.
