No need to worry about all of that with an escape to Club Med Bintan, as it’s just over an hour away by ferry. You can conveniently book your ferry tickets as part of your Club Med Bintan booking. Hop aboard at Tanah Merah ferry terminal, and watch the kids’ faces light up on the boat ride. Some ferries have outdoor seating so you can enjoy the sea air.

2. The accommodation
There are a range of accommodation options to cater for families and groups of all sizes. The rooms are all light and spacious, and the decor is a nod to traditional Indonesian style with a modern touch. Many of the rooms have balconies with sea views and you can also find interconnecting options if you have older kids you want to be close to. If you’re heading to Club Med Bintan as a couple, why not splash out on a Suite with private terrace? Enjoy a canopied bed, deep bathtub, and soak in the ambience!
3. Dining: Is it really all-inclusive?
If you’re worried about budget (who isn’t these days?), then Club Med Bintan is one of the most wallet-friendly holidays you’ll find. All meals at the onsite restaurants are covered in the Club Med Bintan booking, even snacks! Music to our ears for families with little snack-monster toddlers. This includes not only main meals, but also buffet and a la carte options.
What’s a holiday without a tipple or two? All non-alcoholic beverages and most alcoholic beverages are included in the price – woo hoo! The only additional cost you will have to pay is if you order premium wine or spirits, champagne and premium plates. So really, there’s no catch here if you want to eat and drink as much as you like!
4. Kids activities
Club Med around the world is famous for the kid-friendly atmosphere, and Club Med Bintan is no exception! Kids aged four to ten will love the Mini Club Med + experience or the Junior Club Med experience for older kids aged eleven to seventeen years old. You won’t see them for most of the day, as they’ll be kept occupied with a variety of sports and activities handled by enthusiastic Club Med G.Os. The resort is also a sanctuary for turtles, so your little eco warriors can learn a thing or two about conservation of these precious creatures!
Petit Club Med is for toddlers aged two to three, and is available at an additional cost. Little ones will be taken care of by early learning professionals who will engage them in musical and artistic activities while mum and dad enjoy the other Club Med Bintan activities that are included in your package.
For bubs aged two years and below, pay a nominal fee to reserve the Club Med Baby Welcome Kit, which provides you with important equipment to keep your little one comfortable during the trip. This means there’s no need to pack baby supplies such as potties, toiletries, bottle warmers, strollers, and more. The main restaurant also has a Baby Corner where essentials like blenders and microwaves are provided for you to conveniently prepare your baby’s meals. There’s also a list of babysitting services you can hire at your own cost.
5. Relax and unwind, or get active – your holiday, your choice!
While the kiddos are busy at the kids club, it’s time for some downtime for mum and dad. With gorgeous sea views, you may not want to leave your hotel room (ever). If you can be persuaded to venture out, there is a well-equipped gym that you can enjoy at your leisure. If pampering is more to your liking, Club Med Spa by CSpa creates unique well-being experiences that bring harmony to your mind and the body. However, spa treatments come at an additional cost; but the cost is comparable to other places in Bintan, so go ahead and rejuvenate!
Keen golfers, and want to get the kids into the sport early? This is the place to go! Practise at the onsite golf school before enjoying a round at the nearby championship standard Ria Bintan golf course. There’s also a whole range of land and water sports for you to discover.
