What makes this new Senior School shine? We can’t get enough of its revamped spaces, dedicated teachers, and nurturing approach.
Heads-up, Brighton College (Singapore) has just introduced a brand new Senior School to its ranks! That means that students can stay in the same school all the way from preschool to before university. How awesome does that sound?
This continuity also boosts the sense of community for students, where the school truly becomes a home away from home. Here’s what the new Senior School has up its sleeves:
1. Dedicated teachers
The Senior School has a team of passionate and skilled teachers at its reins; they go above and beyond to help students become the best they can be. In line with Brighton College’s approach, the teachers use a holistic approach in a kind and supportive environment.
Academics are just one part of the equation; personal development is key to the school’s approach, with each student given the space and encouragement to develop into their own unique individual.
2. Comprehensive curriculum

Curriculum-wise, students cover all their bases with a British curriculum, including subjects like English, maths, science, geography, history, and computing. The best part? These are all taught by subject specialist teachers!
Corresponding to the IGCSE and A-level curriculum, students are also exposed to music, art, drama, and physical education, and have the chance to pick up modern foreign languages. We especially love the ‘Story of Our Land’ course, which aims to equip students with a real-world perspective of local and global happenings.

There are various co-curricular activities thrown into the mix as well, with programmes like STEM activities, cookery, swimming, and more. Students are pushed to see the world around them through curious lenses and often think out of the box. The school’s three pillars of curiosity, confidence, and kindness shine through in everyday lessons, on top of values like perseverance and dedication. After all, what use are good grades if a student doesn’t become a good person?
3. New leadership positions
Who better to lead than one of their own? Students entering Senior School will have the opportunity to take on new leadership positions like ‘Head Boy’, ‘Head Girl’, Heads of Houses, and Prefects. These will be on rotation every term, giving everyone a fair shot to develop their skills!
4. Exciting revamped spaces

Brighton College (Singapore) is going all out with its Senior School, having added a few new spaces to its current campus. We’re talking about a new Dining Hall, Common Room, IT Lab, and Library. There are also new dance studios, music rooms, and performance spaces in the works — stay tuned! To further enhance the experience, the school is rolling subject-specific teaching and learning spaces too.
