Giant bunnies, Minions galore, National Day celebrations and carnival fun: dive into all the cool things to do in Singapore with the kids this weekend...
August already? Yep: the year is just flying by in a blur of so many awesome things to do every weekend with the kids here in sunny Singapore, and we’re loving that we get an extra day to spend with the small people next week thanks to National Day 2017! In the meantime, get busy this weekend with the grand opening of a new hub in the Tampines ‘hood, a good excuse to visit Sentosa, and the chance to prove that Singapore IS a breastfeeding-friendly city…
1. Whip out your human feeding equipment at a family picnic
While we are very much pro-feeding your baby however that works best for you AND bubba (#fedisbest after all), we also love any initiative that creates more support for breastfeeding mothers here in Singapore. Too often we hear of mums who have been shamed into covering up in public while simply trying to feed their babies. Not cool! We’ve already posed the question ‘is Singapore breastfeeding-friendly?’ and we love this annual event that normalises breastfeeding in everyday life: nursing mums of Singapore, you are all cordially invited to join the annual Big Latch-On synchronised breastfeeding event on 5 August 2017.
When: 5th August 2017, 9am-11am
Where: 20 Upper Pickering St, Hong Lim Community Centre, Singapore 058284
