With Singapore’s 52nd birthday coming up fast, now is the time of the year many of us are considering all the things about this great country that makes it unique, and this is THE art exhibition that captures that. No detail gets left out and no one gets left behind in a display by differently-abled students and alumni artists in a collection entitled All Things Singapore. Expect food, nostalgia, architecture and a few surprises in creations by 33 artists who have all grown up with autism in a country that is striving to be more inclusive and accepting each day: We got a sneak peek of the exhibition and can definitely vouch for the serious talent on offer! It’s free to have a look, and originals and prints are available for purchase, so head over to check out how these gifted kids and young adults have all put their own spin on what Singapore means to them.
The exhibition has been set up by the Artist Development Programme (ADP), an award-winning programme created in 2011 to uncover and encourage the artistic talents in students, and this exhibition features students from Pathlight School.
