Be transported into Mario Puzo’s literary world with an exclusive 5-course and beverage menu – all inspired by the 55th Anniversary of his epic tome, “The Godfather”.
For one night only, on 26 April, guests are invited to dress up to the theme and immerse themselves in the sophisticated fashion of 1940s and 50s America. A 5-course menu, priced at $118++ per guest, features signature dishes depicted in the pages of the book. Complementing the culinary journey are themed beverages, including the ‘GODFATHER’ cocktail and a curated wine special.
The dinner starts with a bread course of housemade fresh focaccia, made with spent grain from LeVeL33’s microbrewery and served with caponata – a Sicilian dish of vegetables sauteed in olive oil, tomato sauce, celery, olives, and capers.
The first course presents a delicate Sea Bream Carpaccio, followed by a Charcoal-grilled Red Prawn. The third course of the Godfather Meat Gravy Spaghetti & Meatballs brings to mind the iconic scene where Clemenza teaches Michael, the youngest son of the Carleone patriarch, his recipe of a rich, hearty sausage meatball and Tomato Sauce. For the finale, guests are offered two desserts, the Cannolis Two Ways and a Lemon & Candied Orange.
Crafted for the occasion is LeVeL33’s cocktail special, the GODFATHER ($22++). Paying homage to the iconic 1972 film and its literary origins in Mario Puzo’s 1969 novel of the same name, this unique blend features Angostura Bitters, Amaretto, and Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt. Diners may also opt for the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley ($168++ per bottle).
