It’s no secret we’re huge fans of ArtScience Museum: its FUTURE WORLD exhibit is one of our all-time favourite things to do in Singapore with kids. So we can’t wait for this new permanent exhibit, which launches 11 February! Into the Wild: An Immersive Virtual Adventure transforms over 1,000 square metres of ArtScience Museum’s public spaces into a lush virtual rainforest – and it’s free! Using specially created smartphone devices, kids and parents are transported from the concrete jungle of Singapore to the jungles of Sumatra: look out for endangered animals like the pangolin and Sumatran tiger, watch pretty butterflies and listen to the beautiful waterfall. Join your kids in putting out forest fires and rescuing a trapped mouse deer from a poacher’s trap. The coolest part of Into the Wild? You’ll have an opportunity to plant a virtual tree and make a pledge towards the environment: and a real tree is planted in the Sumatran rainforests, allowing you to make a real-world impact!
