UWCSEA is challenging kids aged 7 – 11 to come up with awesome Solutions for the Elderly on 12 May at the UWCSEA IDEAS Hub using everyday crafting materials and the BBC micro:bit!
What is it? The Microthon is an annual single-day event, aiming to introduce coding for younger audiences. It allows kids to be exposed to the latest technologies from around the world.
How does it work? Competitors will be given a theme before event day to build a story or project based on it, using the technologies available around the IDEAS Hub.
