If you’re looking for ways to entertain your little ones this month, the TLC Children’s Festival has got your family time plans covered.
Good news: The Little Company (TLC) is gearing up to bring your kiddos some month-long fun! The TLC Children’s Festival celebrates the best of TLC on one platform, running from 4 September to 4 October 2020. Expect an exciting digital festival that’ll nurture, inspire and entertain growing young minds. We’re talking about locally produced shows, fun workshops and free creative activities to keep your kids entertained at home.
Classic stories for imaginative minds
Storytelling is a key part of childhood entertainment – we bet your young ones love snuggling up with a bedtime story! With the TLC Children’s Festival, livestream storytelling sessions will capture your child’s imagination. Expect tales of friendship, family and more from around the world. Adventure classics include The Raja’s Mistake and Humpty Dumpty; stories of discovery include Little Miss Muffet and Hansel and Gretel; while tales of wonder include Story of Little Boy Blue and Beauty and the Beast.
Fly high with a whirlwind show
A pair of friends embark on a crazy adventure to fly high by building their own flying machine… how could this not be exciting?! Theatre, comedy, music and puppetry come together in this whirlwind tour of friendship (and the basic science of flying). The kids will be floored.
Workshops and webinars for bonding time
Family bonding time can be fun and educational – just look at the virtual activities TLC Children’s Festival has in store! Log onto Zoom to explore the magical land of song with Nursery Rhyme Time with your toddlers. Or, learn how to use arts to interact with your child through the Creative Parents Webinar.
