A new green space for things to do with kids in Bangkok, featuring a playground, jogging paths and sports areas.
Officially opened on 30 December 2025, Phloen Phrakhanong Pocket Park is Bangkok’s newest public park and sports ground, created to give local communities easy access to one of the best parks and green spaces in Bangkok. Located in the Sukhumvit area where land prices are some of the highest in the city, it is often referred to as a billion-baht park.
Spanning around 2,848 square metres, the space has been developed as a shared community spot where families and neighbours can spend quality time outdoors, from playground time and casual walks to sports and weekend activities.
What is Phloen Phrakhanong Pocket Park?

This newly opened public park and sports space was developed by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) as part of the city’s 15-minute park initiative. The goal is to bring quality green spaces closer to home, giving families more things to do outdoors without travelling far.
Around 60% of the park is dedicated to green areas for walking, relaxing and free play, while the remaining 40% is set aside for sports and activity zones, designed with input from local residents and community groups.
