What Sets This School Apart
Our pedagogy focuses on individual learning or 'The Nexus Way’. You will see this as you walk around, classrooms are designed to be flexible, collaborative and innovative. Teachers are rarely leading from the front, and children are not sitting at desks in a row.
We are an Apple Distinguished school, which means we use technology to enhance our learning experiences in innovative ways. An example of this is in our Makerspaces which is where art and science come together and children create. For instance, when Pokemon Go was first introduced, our learners wanted to move the virtual to reality. They analysed, and created a Pokemon ball with 3D printers. They then added electronics to flip it open, allowing them to ‘catch them all’.
Exciting New Developments
We are building a brand new campus in 2020 which will be in Aljunied. The campus has been built around our learning philosophy and it has been a joy to watch ideas and concepts come to life architecturally. In preparation for our move to the new school, we are road-testing all the latest equipment at our current campus to know its potential in the learning environment.
