Got a future Broadway star in the house? Sign them up for the Centre Stage School of the Arts Musical Theatre Workshop for children and teens, and turn them into true performers!
Over five days, participants get the opportunity to sing, dance, act and enjoy all things musical theatre! Your child will get to surround themselves with other students and up-and-coming performers who share the same zest for The Arts, while learning about auditions, rehearsing musical theatre numbers and working together to prepare for their very own performance.
The workshop will be led by two renowned industry professionals – performer Duane Alexander and director Anton Luitingh – both of whom have showcased their talents in Broadway performances such as Cats, Beauty and the Beast, Rent and Singin’ in the Rain (which will soon be touring Singapore)!
The classes are organised according to ages: kids aged seven to 14 years old will get the morning slot from 9.30am to 12.30pm, while older kids (and even adults) from aged 15 to 25 years old will take the afternoon slot from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. Then, on the 15th of August 2015, there will be a morning workshop (9.30pm to 12pm), followed by a showcase that parents and friends are invited to enjoy!
