You’re probably already aware about this, but it’s still validating to hear that yes, parenting is tough. It doesn’t come with a manual, and it’s not a one-size-fits-all. On top of that, some would say that different children need different parenting styles. So how do you go about choosing one that suits you and your children best?
We’ll be tackling this hot topic at our first ever HoneyKids Talks, a live podcast recording event for our soon to be relaunched Growing Pains podcast, in partnership with Poddster. Mark your calendars for HoneyKids Talks: The Great Discipline Debate. Early bird tickets at $25 (not inclusive of platform fees; U.P. $30), comes with light breakfast with coffee and tea from The Plattering Co.
Note: You’re more than welcome to bring your children along. However, as we’ll be recording live, we kindly request you to help keep their voices low. Should your little one find the audio level too loud, or have trouble settling, there are breakaway rooms that you may use as a ‘calm room’.
Event photography and filming notice: Photography and filming may be taken at this event for publicity purposes.
Expect an exciting debate between three parenting schools of thought
We’re having three speakers state their case for each parenting style – tiger, authoritative, and gentle parenting – all in the name of educational fun at HoneyKids Talks: The Great Discipline Debate. You’ll also get to ask questions, vote, and share your thoughts with our speakers over a light breakfast with coffee and tea served.
