The annual ‘Move for Dyslexia’ is back! Don’t miss the opportunity to show your support for children with dyslexia and other specific learning differences (SpLDs) – by walking, running or cycling!
As part of the World Dyslexia Awareness Week in October 2022, the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) is organising ‘Move for Dyslexia 2022’. This walk-run-cycle event aims to raise awareness about dyslexia and other SpLDs, as well as raise funds for children with dyslexia from lower-income families.
DAS launched ‘Move for Dyslexia 2022’ at Gardens by the Bay on 1 October 2022 – a beautiful night where adults and children completed the mission as one.
Now, it’s your turn to act. After registration, you can choose to walk or run anytime, anywhere in one single session or over multiple sessions to clock a distance of at least 30km. If you prefer to cycle, you can clock the longest distance cycled in 30 days.
As long as you complete the mission between now and 31 December 2022, and submit proof of captured activities by 31 January 2023, you will receive a Finisher’s Badge via email. For more terms and conditions, visit the official Move website.
Do tag @DyslexiaSG, #embracedyslexia, #MOVEforDyslexia when sharing your photos to help us spread awareness of this good cause.
Your support will help more children with learning difficulties to assess the specialised educational services that they need and deserve. Let us embrace and celebrate dyslexia together!
