Happening from 1 June till 19 July, from Singapore’s first pickleball courts in a water park, to immersive photo zones, and free enrichment classes trials for kids – it’s the place to be for an action packed day out.

1. Go wild for pickleball… at a water park

Do pickleballs and water parks go together? Wild Wild Wet proves that they do. You can now find pickleball courts within the water park, making these Singapore’s first pickleball courts that are integrated within a water park. Challenge the kids (and yourselves) to a few rounds of this popular game, then head for a well-deserved dip at Wild Wild Wet’s jacuzzi pool, or go for a relaxing trip down Shiok River with one of the new pickleball-themed floats!
Do kids have more energy to spend? Bring them to the Tsunami Pool, where they can join a game of water polo that’s held every weekend. Or head to the Kidz Zone and Sea-The-World for more kid-friendly water play time.

Surf the waves in the beach zone, feel what it’s like to be a pro athlete in the locker room and stadium zones, then step into the tennis zone to recreate your Djokovic moment.

3. Pick up a new skill for free

If your kids are interested in trying out a new sport or musical instrument, Downtown East has got them covered with an Enrichment Fair that’s taking place at the mall.
Downtown East is organising an Enrichment Fair during the June school holidays, featuring free trial classes across sports, music, and academic ones at its participating stores. We’re talking jiu-jitsu and taekwondo with Mobius Arena Training Studio, cartwheels and handstands with Galaxy Gymnastics, piano and guitar with Cristofori Music School, and more – it’s the perfect opportunity for the little ones to discover a new passion. The list of centres also includes academic-related ones, like a one-hour free trial class in primary school maths with Seriously Addictive Mathematics, as well as a free Chinese trial lesson with Berries. 1. Yakiniku Shiok!

Can’t decide whether to go for a hot pot or barbecue? You can have both at Yakiniku Shiok, known for its generous buffet spread and premium wagyu cuts. Plus, your little ones who are below 100cm-tall get to dine for free.

If you’re a fan of sloppy burgers, give Sloppy Shack a try. This halal western food restaurant serves delicious burgers and pastas, as well as fusion dishes like prata pizzas and prata quesadillas. We heard that the sizzling cheeseburger is super shiok!

Getting to Downtown East is a breeze

Even if you’re not driving, you can easily get to Downtown East with its free shuttle that runs between the mall and Pasir Ris MRT (Exit A). The shuttle runs from 11am to 10pm daily at 20-minute intervals. Alternatively, there are multiple public buses that service the route between the train station and the mall.
