Matthew Bourne has done it again! Following his amazing re-imagining of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, this time he is bringing Sleeping Beauty to the Esplanade for a ballet classic with a gothic surprise. Climb Mount Faber for a family-friendly fun fest
If you are looking for some free family-friendly activities including workshops, performances and nostalgic interactive games this weekend, then ditch your cars and head up to the Mount Faber Loop for the Let’s Lepak festival. We hear tale that kids can make their very own cable car out of recycled materials, create cool artwork while dancing at the same time and take part in some fun fitness classes too! If you love Asia, love books, and love hanging out with authors and illustrators, then this one is definitely for you! Singaporean writer, Lin Xueling, is officially launching her fabulous new read, The Island in the Caldera, and you are all invited to join her for a reading of her book, plus hang out with illustrator Stephanie Raphaela Ho who will be doing a live demo. We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of this fantastical tale about two sisters bravely adventuring around Asia and discovering strange characters along the way.
