It’s F1 weekend, people! Kylie, Bastille, Queen et al are in Singapore providing the musical backdrop to the 2016 Grand Prix, and we can’t wait to get in on the action. 1. Race over to the F1 circuit for this year’s Grand Prix
Cheer for your favourite racing driver, and rock to headline performers Kylie Minogue, Imagine Dragons and Queen featuring Adam Lambert, as the F1 Singapore Airlines Grand Prix speeds back into town this weekend for the ninth time. Expect world-class entertainment, high-speed action and a fabulous festival feel for this unmissable three-day event.

2. Learn to play the steel pans!
Ever fancied learning a musical instrument with a difference? This weekend you can make some music and learn to play the fabulous steel pans, the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago. This fun, free activity is suitable for the whole family (kids under the age of seven will need to be accompanied by a grown-up), so pick up some new skills while hanging out with the Pan Cats (and get yourself a lesson in Afro-Caribbean culture and history thrown in for good measure too!).

3. Head back to prehistoric times for a unique cinematic treat
Prehistoric fun alert! Kids are gonna roar with delight when they hear about the brand new cinematic adventure with a difference now here in Singapore: Dinosaurs at Dusk has dino-soared over to the Omni-Theatre for a unique movie experience that’s sure to be a massive hit with the whole family. 4. Catch a free movie screening of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

5. Rummage for a bargain at the Mega Flea Market
The largest indoor flea market in Singapore is back and not to be missed with over 200 stalls selling everything but the kitchen sink (and possibly even the kitchen sink!). Ready to go treasure hunting? Head over to The Mega Flea Market with lots of loose change and grab yourself some bargains!

6. Grab your last chance to see The Three Little Pigs on stage
Make sure you huff and puff your way to a seat for SRT’s The Little Company’s on-stage musical adventure, The Three Little Pigs: It’s blowing out of town this weekend for good! 7. Go exploring on the Lower Peirce trail
Explore the natural wonders of Lower Peirce trail on a nature appreciation guided walk suitable for the whole family. Stroll along the shady boardwalk checking out the flora and fauna along the way, and keep an eye out for the Malayan water monitors and flying lemurs!

9. Get fresh at a farmers’ market

10. Create a clay masterpiece at the National Gallery
