Our picks of family friendly immersive experiences in Bangkok that offer much more than just light shows.
Bangkok already has plenty of things to do with kids, but in recent years the Thai capital has also seen a rise in immersive experiences that go far beyond traditional art museums and galleries.
About 6 years ago, River City Bangkok helped spark the trend with shows like From Monet to Kandinsky. Since then, immersive attractions have expanded into shopping malls, entertainment venues and even rooftops.
So, what exactly is an immersive experience? It is a type of attraction designed to make you feel as though you have stepped into another world, using a mix of technology, storytelling and sensory elements.
These experiences often combine projection mapping, interactive visuals, spatial sound, AR features and other effects to create something more engaging than a standard exhibition.
We have already rounded up the best VR venues in Bangkok, but we know that not everyone wants to wear a headset. So here are our picks of the best immersive experiences in Bangkok where you can enjoy the magic without the glasses.
