Breast cancer is the most common cancer amongst women in Singapore and the chances of developing it increases with age. The good news though is that early detection can increase your chance of survival. The Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) aims to raise awareness of this and encourage women to screen themselves regularly.
On 3 October, come show your support for breast cancer survivors by taking part in The Pink Ribbon Walk. Held to raise funds for BCF’s support group programs and awareness outreach program, the 3.2 km walk is priced at $45 for the public and $35 if you’re 60 and above. Or better yet, grab your kids (above 13 years old) and girlfriends to sign up for a Group Registration fee of $30 each.
