Take a break from the usual race around the city and experience Singapore’s most naturally beautiful running trail at the Green Corridor Run 2015. Starting from the old Tanjong Pagar rail station to the border of Malaysia, the 10.5km route boasts an uninterrupted scenery of lush greenery and woodlands through one of Singapore’s most significant ecological and historical area. Soak in the natural beauty and see Singapore like you’ve never done before.
Held in conjunction to Singapore’s World Water Day celebrations, there will be an exciting water race category that allows participants to gain a feel of what’s it like in countries that do not have direct accessibility to water. Participants for this special category are required to carry a bucket of water from start to finish of the Green Corridor Run course and pour it into a ceremonial well. For every litre collected, $1 will be donated to a non-profit organisation that brings clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations through sustainable water projects.
