Something strange is unfolding at Curiosity Cove with Ranger Buddies, an edutainment brand that nurtures children to make a positive difference for themselves, others, and the world. The indoor playscape’s inaugural event, The Mischief Within, invites families to step into playful mystery this Halloween, where familiar places have changed, clues have appeared, and Ranger Buddies Al and Min need help to crack the case.
Running from 1 October to 1 November 2026, the event unfolds across two experiences: Boo-tiful Day, with carnival games and activities daily from 10am to 5.30pm, and Sundown on selected Friday to Sunday evenings from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, when Curiosity Cove takes on a spooky after-dark twist. Families are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best at Sundown, with a chance to be crowned Best Dressed.
At Boo-tiful Day, young Ranger Buddies can take on carnival challenges, helping to topple a mischief-conjured pumpkin wall, or teaming up to blast a horde of mischievous pumpkins. Those who love to get creative can make their own neon glow painting or glowing night lamp to take home as a Halloween keepsake. Sweeten the visit by picking up a candy bag and then tracking down the roving crew around Curiosity Cove for trick-or-treating.
As Sundown begins, The Mischief grows stronger. Curiosity Cove transforms into the setting for The Mischief Within Trail, an after-dark adventure through the playscape. The night builds up to a mesmerising bubble performance by CJ Bubbles, and closes with a victory parade, where best-dressed awards are presented to one child winner and one family winner each night.
