Take your first step towards understanding some of the world’s most pressing issues: modern day slavery and human trafficking. Organised by EmancipAsia, STEPS in the Park is a 5km fun run/walk that aims to raise awareness, push for change and empower individuals, communities and businesses to play a part in tackling these violations of human rights.
Together with your kids, enjoy live performances, eye-opening exhibitions, film screenings and interactive learning in a relaxed and fun-filled setting. The event will be held from 7.30am to 12.30pm and will be graced by Member of Parliament, Mr Christian De Souza, who played a crucial role in the anti-trafficking bill which was passed in November 2014.
NOTE: STEPS in the PARK 2015 has been postponed due to poor response. The organizers will be contacting all participants with more details shortly. Do stay tuned to the EmancipAsia Facebook page and emancipasia.org for updates on the event. Thank you.
