Greetings from our brand new, shiny digs on Orchard Road! We’re off to explore the ‘hood and check out where the nearest coffee shop is, but before then, here’s our top tips for fun with the kiddos this week in Singapore…
1. Busy the kids with craft
The day of daddies is just around the corner, so break out the craft box and get the kids to whip up a DIY prezzie that’ll knock dad’s Father’s Day socks off.
2. Flip out over theatre
Finally Flipside at the Esplanade is on, and we can’t wait to check out a feast of theatrical fun that includes music, puppetry, art installations, hands-on art and tech activities and an infinitely cool, award-winning interactive performance of A Giant’s Table. Catch it until 2 June.
3. Join us for messy play
If you’ve got tots aged two to 24 months, you’re definitely going to want to know about our fab and free upcoming HoneyKids Playgroup with Learning Vision. RSVP for morning tea, circle time and plenty of icky, sticky and oh-such-fun tactile activities!
4. Race over to a regatta
Get outdoors for an event we’ve been waiting all year for: the DBS Marina Regatta 2019 at The Promontory @ Marina Bay! This year’s edition is happening from 31 May until 2 June 2019, and it’s got a cool eco-theme this time around. Head over for an eco-maze, old school carnival games, cool workshops and exciting Dragon Boat races!
5. Introduce the kids to opera
Phantom-style! We already caught and loved the awesome production of Phantom of the Opera, and definitely think that older kids will love it too. It’s warbling out of town on 8 June, so catch it before the curtain closes on the phenomenal sets and outstanding cast for the last time.
