2019 Inspired: Singapore International Schools Art Exhibition
Head over to the Australian High Commission and be wowed by the serious skills of young artists from an array of Singapore’s international schools. They’ll totally put your doodles to shame! Each of the 16 schools taking part in the exhibition have handpicked high-quality student works that best reflect the skill and dedication required to succeed on their respective art courses.

Parent’s Coffee Morning with White Lodge International Preschool
If you’re looking for more information on nutrition for preschoolers (sorry kids: bread and cheese is NOT going to cut it), then why not swing by White Lodge River Valley for its next Parent Talk? Paediatric dietitian Kathy Lowes-Switzer will be sharing her expert advice on allergies, selective eating and tips on keeping your kids happy and healthy. EtonHouse International School Orchard Open House
EtonHouse International School Orchard, situated in the heart of the city, offers students a modern learning experience from primary through to the high school years. TEDxTanglin Trust School
We’re huge fans of TED, the annual event that brings together the world’s leading thinkers to share their big ideas across all kinds of fields: technology, design, the environment, science and so on. And, to continue on in the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED has created TEDx, a series of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience, through live speakers, TED Talks videos and engaging discussions. This year, several Year 13 students from Tanglin Trust School are presenting TEDxTanglin Trust School and a ‘Breaking Ground’ theme. Experience Chatsworth Open Day
Nothing quite gives you the feel for a new school than an open day. To help you in the process of choosing a school for your little one, Chatsworth Bukit Timah is hosting an open day so you can pop down with the family for a first-hand look at student life. You’ll be able to chat with teachers about everyday life at the school life and the curriculum, plus check out the facilities, enjoy a tour of the campus and meet other parents. Your child can also get a feel for the place by taking part in a ‘tag along’, where they’ll be able to experience the school as a guest. Tag-along sessions will run for both primary (kindergarten to year 6; suitable for ages 3 and up) and secondary students (Years 7–13), and can be reserved by registering ahead of time.

If you’re interested in your child learning in a multicultural environment, then why not take a peek inside Lycée Français de Singapour – the French School of Singapore? CIS Lakeside PTA Christmas Fair
Get a headstart on your Christmas shopping and join in the celebrations at CIS PTA’s Christmas Fair. Everything’s under one roof to make your life super simple when gifting loved ones this festive season: think clothing and jewellery to home décor and accessories. Not only that, but Santa will also be there to spread some mirth, plus there promises to be heaps of Christmas-themed games, arts and crafts, and a photobooth. Open to the public, this event is also free of charge.

Repton International School’s Enrichment Program
Repton Schoolhouse Bukit Timah is a brand new, recently opened premium preschool that’s aimed at children from 18 months to 6 years old. It’s located in leafy Bukit Timah, and the gorgeous location for the school offers little ones a fresh and spacious environment, as well as numerous indoor and outdoor learning and playing areas. From now until 13 December, Repton will be offering a bilingual program to help develop language skills in both English and Chinese. Through immersion in literature and fun activities, the program aims to build confidence and develop communication skills, along with an appreciation for quality literature. Fancy enrolling your child there for January 2020? The five-full-day program is reduced to $3000 (+GST) and the five half-day program is reduced to $2,450 (+GST).
