It might be a shorter week this week, but that doesn't mean we've got any less fun lined up...

So Tuesday is posing as Monday today, but we’ve still got plenty of days left this week to fill with some fun adventures with the kiddos in tow. Psst: local schools kick out for the school holidays NEXT FRIDAY. Have you got your June camps booked yet?

1. Wear the kids out at suspended net playground

We finally got around to checking out the genius aerial playground that is Airzone, and the kids can’t wait to get back. Spread over six floors of space at City Square Mall, the air between each level of the mall is filled with ladders, slides, nets and ball pits. Kids age seven and up can go in alone: younger than that, you’re gonna have to go in too, grownups.

2. Get into the great outdoors

Get yourselves to Pualu Ubin! Photography: Tracy Tristram

We love catching a bumboat over to Pulau Ubin whenever we can, and never more so than when the awesome six-week long Pesta Ubin is happening. There’s kayaking, dragon dancing, wildlife walks and plenty more happening from now until 30 June so get on over!

3. Create your own sensory play zones at home

Sensory play is King for little ones, so we’ve put together an easy peasy guide to squidgy, squelchy fun to try at home with your tots. Things may get a little messy…

4. Feel the breeze in your hair at East Coast Park

We hadn’t checked out East Coast Park in a while, so we took ourselves there recently to make sure it was still as fun as we remembered. And it was. Playgrounds don’t get much better than Marine Cove, after all. Don’t forget to pack a picnic!

5. Give the kids a lesson on Our Planet

Learn all about Our Planet, right here in Singapore

If you’ve been binge watching the Netflix documentary, Our Planet, you’ll love seeing it come to life through IMAX projections, spatial soundscapes and a soundtrack narrated by Sir David Attenborough himself at the REWILD Our Planet exhibition. It’s happening at ArtScience Museum and it’s on until 2 June, folks.
