Here we are again rushing headfirst in to a new week full of new things to do with the kiddos. What have we got lined up to keep the family busy with for the week ahead? We’ve got everything from a free fun-packed playgroup to adventures in Chinatown…
1. Join us at an outdoors playgroup
Oh yes this week is the week of our next FREE HoneyKids Playgroup at Canadian International School (CIS), and we can’t wait! Bring your little people age one to five years for muddy outdoors adventures, eco pond explorations and an obstacle course just for tots. And that’s just for starters. RSVP for the final few spots and see you there, folks!
2. Go on a hike
Give our hiking with kids guide a read, gather the troops, fill your water bottle and get out and about this week on one of the best walking trails around Singapore.
3. Check out the CNY festivities in Chinatown
Dazzling lights, lanterns galore and giant piggies are what it’s all about over in Chinatown, and the lights are all now on to add to the fun. Head to Eu Tong Sen Street, New Bridge Road, South Bridge Road and Garden Bridge to check out the spectacular displays dotted all over colourful Chinatown.
4. Get your cameras ready for an art walk
Once you’re done with Chinatown, line up your next adventure in another cool ‘hood: Little India. The 2019 Art Walk has just kicked off and there’s more talent than ever to spot on a walking trail around this vibrant pocket of the city. Don’t forget to download your map before setting off!
5. Play at the library
There’s a whole series of unstructured play happening at libraries all over Singapore for small ones age six years and under. Make new friends, discover fun reads and play with age-appropriate toys at the play@library sessions happening throughout the week.
Now go have fun!
