We’re hurtling towards mid-December and the festive fever is really beginning to take over. School is out, and fun is on for the rest of the month! But fear not: we’ve got plenty in the pipeline for your week ahead of cool activities with the fam.
1. Hang out with Santa
Santa is popping up all over Singapore in the coming weeks, so get yourself over for a meet-and-greet with the jolly man in red to find out if you’ve made the nice list.
2. Go to the zoo, zoo, zoo
Bring your own little creatures to the Singapore Zoo to check out mythical beings as part of the Dragons and Beasts events happening until the end of December. Craft your own creatures, meet a real dragon (a bearded one!) and find out lots of awesome facts while taking on the role of a creature researcher.
3. Take a little trip around Singapore town
By foot! We’ve been checking out some of the fam-friendly heritage trails around the island, and have put together a handy guide of our faves. Pack your water bottles, slap on the sunscreen and get into the great outdoors.
4. Gallop over to Equestria
The My Little Pony gang are in town for the Christmas season, so if you have a big MLP fan in the house, you’ll want to trot – neigh – gallop over to Forum the Shopping Mall to meet Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie et al. The adventures are happening at the Christmas Village and includes photo opps, games and promos galore.
5. Bring the tots to the theatre
We love a theatre opp for our little folk, and we’re deffo well on board with one that encourages kids that bedtime is a good thing… Under the Bed is perfect for kiddos aged three to six years and introduces them to Mat: a small boy who hates going to bed. #relatable
