What’s on for kids in Singapore this week? 7 January 2019

Things to do with the kids this week in Singapore: 6 May 2019
Hello, Monday! And hello new week of fun things to do with the family in tow!

We’ve got a new round of ideas for kids (and mum) to keep busy with this week in Singapore. Get into the great outdoors, flex your credit cards, celebrate Pongal festival and bring curious tots to the museum for adventures all around our fair isle. Have fun, folks!

1. Get your craft on at Pip’s PlayBox

It’s a well known fact that we’re fond of recycling our rolls here at HoneyKids, so we’re loving the look of this free and fun craft activity happening from today until 31 January at Pip’s Playbox. Turn something old into something new and let little ones create a funky stationery holder!

2. Check out the cool exhibits happening right now

We just updated our huge list of awesome fam-friendly exhibits happening all over Singapore right now, and with a fair few about to wind up and ship out for good, this week is perfect to get busy checking them out.

3. Get ready for Pongal

Pongal officially kicks off on 15 January, and the Little India area is ramping up the celebrations from 11 January. In honour of the harvest festival, expect a month of cool activities, traditional performances and dazzling street decor around Campbell Lane, Hastings Road, Indian Heritage Centre and Serangoon Road.

4. Discover the Park Connector Network

We’re on a mission (New Year’s resolutions and all that) to keep fit as a family, so we’re rediscovering the Park Connector Network the island over. North, east, south or west, find a connector in your ‘hood and go for a hike or a bike ride.

5. Treat yourself, mum!

Gather your girlfriends and leave the kiddos with dad for this one! Keepers Red Letter Sale, the largest Singapore designer sale, is back bigger and better than ever with 50 local labels offering up to 90% discount on all kinds of goodies. From accessory brands to publishing houses, home and decor labels to fashion and footwear brands, there’s plenty to browse while also keeping refuelled thanks to a selection of F&B partners. See you there!
