We’re ramping up the Chinese New Year feels here at HoneyKids, and we’ve got plenty of fun planned for the kids for the week ahead. Dive in for what’s hot in the world of activities for families in Singapore!
Party with the HoneyKids and HWA
Have you RSVP’d to our Chinese New Year Family Fun Day with Hillside World Academy yet? It’s this Saturday, folks, and we can’t wait for the fam-friendly, authentic celebration filled with special lion and dragon performances, CNY sweet treats, workshops, craft, goody bags and plenty more. Snap up your spot and see you there.
Teach the kids all about minimalism
We checked out the Minimalism: Space. Light. Object. exhibit at the National Gallery Singapore in collaboration with ArtScience Museum this weekend, and the kids not only really enjoyed it, but it also provoked some great conversations with them about how they have too many toys for the space we live in. Cue declutter when we got home… not quite Marie Kondo style, but baby steps and all that.
Check out a brand new library
Sound the trumpets: there’s a new library in town and it’s perfect for bookworms of all ages. Jam-packed with around 200,000 books, mags and audio-visual materials, library@harbourfront is the largest library to open in a shopping mall here in sunny Singapore. What’s more, it’s designed with families in mind! With an Adults’ and Teens’ Zone and also a dedicated Children’s Zone there’s an appropriate space (and perhaps even a little peace and quiet) for everyone.

Bring the kids to Admiralty Park
If the kids need to let off some steam, check out one of our favourite play parks in Singapore: Admiralty Park. With slides galore, plenty of space for running and lots of climbing opps for little Spideys, read our guide and then head on over.
