What’s on for kids in Singapore this week? 10 June 2019

What's on for kids this week in Singapore: 21 May 2019
We’ve got the perfect week all planned out for you!

Second week of June, people, and we’re still going full steam ahead with activities and fun things the kids will love. The weather’s been unpredictable lately though so keep those umbrellas and sunhats on hand. Ready? Let’s go!

1. Bounce around in the air

Ducking indoors to escape the heat or rain? You’ll want to check out the new attraction at Jewel Changi. Canopy Park, located on level 5, has a whole new world of play from a hedge maze to garden trails, giant slides and sky nets which you can bounce or walk across. The park opens till late (3am!) if you’re looking for a post-dinner adrenaline rush.

2. Go on a walk to discover Singapore’s history

The newly refurbished Fort Canning Park is teeming with historical sites, gardens, a playground and brand new exhibits just waiting for the kiddos to explore. Pack water, mozzie spray and sunhats and make a day of it, and if the weather gets too much, just duck into the Fort Canning Centre to check out the brand new exhibit From Singapore to Singaporean: The Bicentennial Experience. If you’re visiting in June, just remember to book your (free) tickets online beforehand!

3. Go on a quest for dinos!

This new exhibit has gotten your little dino-lovers all in a tizzy. It’s an hour max once you’re in but that won’t stop the little T-rexs from checking out Timimus Dinosaur the tyrannosauroid and holographic augmented and virtual reality environments where they’ll get to step into a time when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Did we mention they’ll even get to “discover” their own fossil?

4. Beat the heat with a cool mall show

Pop over to Forum the Shopping Mall to cool off with the high-flying Go Jetters who will be zooming onto the runway from 14 to 23 June (except 17 June). Xuli, Kyan, Lars, Foz, along with their special friend, Ubercorn will be putting on special performances, cool meet and greet sessions, and arts and crafts activities just for the kiddos!

5. Leave it to dad

Stumped on activities? We’ve got just the deal and it involves dad, the kids, and our guide to a full day of fatherly-bonding ahead of Father’s Day while you relax with a well-deserved foot rub.
