This June school holidays, families can enjoy a blend of scenic fun and cultural discovery — from riding in specially designed Peranakan-themed cable car cabins to joining hands-on cultural craft workshops available at Siloso Point Station!
In celebration of the 10th year anniversary of the Singapore Cable Car – Sentosa Line, the cable car cabins have been transformed with vibrant Peranakan-inspired designs, featuring a striking palette of pastel hues and intricate motifs inspired by the historic shophouses of Koon Seng Road. As part of the celebration, local residents will get to enjoy special one-for-one Sentosa Line promotions from now till 31 Aug 2025 — including a Sentosa Line round trip for two at only $4 or one-day unlimited rides for two at just $14. Guests can enjoy the sun and take in scenic views of Sentosa’s beaches, greenery, and attractions from above.
Make a trip with the Singapore Cable Car on the Sentosa Line for a series of hands-on workshops at Siloso Point Station. Introduced by Mount Faber Leisure Group, these workshops will be running on the last weekend of each month. Each session is led by a local artist or maker and invites participants to try their hand at traditional crafts — from embroidery and mini clay kueh sculpting, to rubber stamp carving and Peranakan beading.
Kicking off the workshop series is Thread Lightly by Yenidraws, taking place on 29 Jun, 26 and 27 Jul 2025. Guests get to slow down, get creative and embroider their own Singapore Cable Car tea towel specially designed by local self-taught illustrator & mum’preneur Yeni (@yenidraws) herself. This workshop is suitable for children aged six and above, and all young participants must be accompanied by an adult. Two 90-minute sessions run daily at 11am and 3pm, with all materials provided. Workshop bundles are now available via Mount Faber Leisure Group’s online store. The locals-only bundle, which includes workshop participation and a round-trip on the Sentosa Line, is priced at $45, with a local resident option at $38.
Stay tuned for more exciting workshops coming very soon — details will be updated on Mount Faber Leisure Group’s website.
