We’ve been big fans of awesome construction kids adventure playground Diggersite ever since our kids donned pink tutus, helmets and high-vis safety vests and operated mini-diggers of their very own at the original East Coast location (pictured below). Hot off the press – Diggersite has just moved to a HUGE new ‘digs’ in the North (at ORTO, Singapore’s first multi-recreational park) and now includes a log station, forklifts, tower cranes and a coal mine cart ride. More fun to be had, yeah!

It no longer has an indoor area, so is definitely an activity for a sunny day. “Just for the boys” we hear you say. No, no! Our gung-ho little ladies had a blast manoeuvring their machines, filling buckets with sand and knocking over bottles. The best bit? Watching their faces change from a picture of tongue-curling concentration to beaming smile when they managed to use the ‘Claw’ to catch and move colourful balls. We may or may not have taken over the controls a couple of times to showcase our moves. It’s actually trickier than it looks, so this activity is great for developing fine and gross motor skills. It’s the biz!
