Officially opened on 7 February, Lumpini Dog Park is the 9th dog park in Bangkok. Developed by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) in collaboration with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok (JCC), the opening also marks the 70th anniversary of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Thailand.<\/span><\/p>\n

This new venue is a purpose-built outdoor space designed for dogs and cats to run, play and socialise safely, while owners can relax in a calm, landscaped environment inspired by Japanese garden design.<\/span><\/p>\n

Covering over 2 <\/span>rai<\/span><\/i> (around 3,200 square metres), the park was previously a car park before being fully redeveloped. The project received funding and construction support from the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, with architectural design by Taisei Corporation, a well-known engineering company to ensure the space blends with the natural surroundings of Lumpini Park.<\/span><\/p>\n

The renovation includes new lighting systems, irrigation, upgraded landscaping and expert tree management to prioritise safety, comfort and aesthetics.<\/span><\/p>\n
