Our go-to online boutique Le Petit Society has opened a store IRL near HoneyKids HQ. Uh-oh…
Confession: far too many parcels from Le Petit Society have arrived at HoneyKids HQ than we care to admit to. There’s just something about this independent clothing label for babies and kids (with a few pieces for us grown-ups), that just hits the spot every time. From its cheerful rainbow tees, to cool patterned rompers and so-soft organic pyjamas, it’s become a firm fave. And now that Le Petit Society has opened its bricks-and-mortar concept store in downtown Singapore just a short walk from HoneyKids HQ, we know we’re going to be in trouble.
Le Petit Society is the brainchild of Singaporean couple Robyn Liang and Dylan Ong, who dreamt up the brand to provide cool, high-quality fashion for kids. The designs certainly hit that sweet spot between high-end (okay, OTT) kids’ fashion, and mainstream fashion that is made inexpensively and doesn’t last the distance. Why are we a bit addicted? The designs are fun, wearable pieces that our kids can be comfy in while still looking pretty darn cool. Think confetti prints, paint splatters and pineapples, along with that signature rainbow – and there are some cool pieces for parents too that allow you to do some tasteful twinning. Even better, these clothes last. Believe us, our kiddos put them to the test.

If you appreciate responsible, sustainable fashion, you’ll also dig that Le Petit Society works with manufacturers that sustainable and ethical. The organic PJs, for example, are made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, with safe dyes and prints that are AZO and formaldehyde-free. Organic muslins are coming soon, specially designed in a lightweight weave that suits the Singapore climate and will keep babies cool and comfy.

The store itself is just as you’d expect: fun, inviting and with loads to explore. We love that we now get to play with all of the goodies we’ve been coveting on the site and get to know sizing before we order a whole lot more online (shhhhh).
Le Petit Society has a free pick-up-in-store option when you shop online, so you can collect your online order at the boutique, have a chat with the lovely gang and have a peek at the goodies from other fun brands stocked in store. On that note, our hot tips are to snap up one of the super cool retro Fjällräven backpacks as part of your back-to-school shopping (another confession: we share one with the five-year-old), some sweet first shoes for your toddler by Hubble and Duke and a little something for yourslef from local jewellery designer Curious Creatures.
See? We told you this meant trouble…
