Make-A-Wish Singapore, a non-profit organisation that creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, invites members of the public to kickstart the festive season with the first virtual Santa Run for Wishes 2020. An annual community and fundraising event by Make-A-Wish Singapore, Santa Run for Wishes returns for its seventh edition this year from 2-19 December 2020 with a brand-new format and exciting activities lined up for all participants.
With the aim to accumulate 21,517km – the distance from Singapore to the North Pole to bring Santa back to spread the festive joy, participants in the virtual run will be able to contribute to the journey by submitting their distance through the 42Race application (available for download on App Store and Google Play). Interested members of the public can register for the 2km, 5km, 10km or 50km (accumulative) race categories for $20 per race entry, with all proceeds going towards granting the wishes of children with critical illnesses.
Registration for the run is now open. Participants in the run can also take part in Santa’s little activities from now through the race period and stand a chance to win shopping vouchers worth up to $100 for each activity:
