Here’s your chance to find out what makes Nexus truly different from other schools...
When it comes to being one of the coolest schools on the island, Nexus International School (Singapore) is always way up in that top pile. It’s got awesome makerspaces, uber techy science projects and fun, creative approaches to learning – we’re definitely big fans! But don’t just take it from us – here’s your chance to get the full lowdown from the people who know it best – the students themselves, by joining them at an Open Day on Saturday, 2 March!
Real opinions from real students
Unlike your typical school tour facilitated by admissions staff, school tours on a Nexus Open Day are hosted by Nexus kids themselves. This means you’ll get honest (and probably comical) answers when you grill them on what life at Nexus is really like. You’ll also get the inside info from the students about their latest projects (like building their own skatepark), as well as see the campus through their eyes and get an intro to the teachers! Get the lowdown on all the interesting stuff they’re learning about in class like breaking codes to get into locked boxes in Maths class, and trying their hands and getting creative with 3D heart models. Pretty sweet stuff! Take a peek at our video to see what you can expect from this different kind of tour…

Discover what makes Nexus a different school
Ever heard of those cool open office spaces at Google? Guess what, Nexus has them too! Classrooms are turned into flexible learning spaces, which makes it easier for kids to work and learn together or work one-to-one – it all depends on how each child learns best. In fact, we hear that the brand new Nexus campus at Aljunied is designed exactly on this learning principle! But it’s not just about learning in the classrooms – Nexus has over 90 CCAs, from Taekwondo to Dungeons and Dragons! Now doesn’t that make you wish you were a kid again?
A close-knit school where students thrive
Sure, Nexus has learners from over 50 different countries, the accreditations and internationally recognised curriculum, as well as staff who can speak 25 different languages and use creative approaches to learning, but what also sets it apart from other schools is its sense of community! Not only does it have a parent lounge where parents can catch up over a coffee and talk about all things Nexus, it’s also working on creating shared workspaces for parents who need to juggle work and kids. It really does think of everything!
