Fatherhood holds a special place in the hearts of many, and this Father’s Day, there is no better way to express gratitude than by treating dad to an exclusive 6-course set dinner menu at Fat Cow with the aptly titled “The Ultimate Wagyu Experience” ($188++/pax), available from 14 to 17 June 2024.
Renowned for their handpicked range of ultra-premium beef from reputable farms in Japan, Fat Cow presents an exquisite Japanese wagyu experience for dads, carefully prepared by Chef Shingo Iijima. Diners can look forward to dishes such as Zensai, a delectable selection of seafood and vegetable appetisers such as Kanazawa spinach marinated and simmered in umami dashi, Kabayaki-style freshwater eel, and the opulent fatty tuna crowned with luxurious Hokkaido uni and grilled seaweed.
Other items include the Toriyama umami wagyu carpaccio, made with thinly sliced, succulent meat that is sous vide to perfection. The dish is heightened by a quenelle of Russian sturgeon caviar, umami shio kombu, citrusy yuzu zest, and fresh chives. The charcoal-grilled Toriyama umami wagyu steak is a melt-in-the-mouth steak served with condiments of finely chopped wasabi, pickled fresh peppercorn, and mustard. It is the perfect accompaniment to Fat Cow’s signature fat rice.
Conclude the meal with Dezato, a simply divine, velvety, house-made Japanese-style cheesecake enriched with a whiskey caramel sauce.
