What you can expect at Kids Extravaganza
Whether your little one has rockstar dreams, loves tinkering with robots, or is thinking of a room makeover – believe it or not, there’s something for every kid at the upcoming HoneyKids Presents: Kids Extravaganza.
Here’s a sneak peek of the programmes and activities that await you and the kids.
All day on 17 and 18 May
1. Find your inner rockstar with Aureus Academy
Calling all mini rockstars: our friends at Aureus Academy are hosting a fun and interactive trial session for kids to explore, play, and discover the instrument that’s right for them. Friendly music instructors will be there to guide the kids as they try out different instruments, including guitar, drums, piano, violin, and more.
2. Score a free scoop from Kind Kones
You scream, I scream, we scream for ice cream! Kind Kones is issuing a mystery scoop challenge, where families who can guess all the ingredients of its mystery ice cream correctly wins a free scoop.
3. Try educational toys with playhao
Head over to playhao’s dedicated play corner to try out some of its bestselling toys, such as Magna-tiles, Cuboro marble run, Grapat, and more.
4. Check out curated toys and games with QTOOLS

Expect hands-on fun with QTOOLS, as the lifestyle brand showcases its curated collection of family-friendly games and craft tools. You could be making DIY bracelets and hairpins together, try your hand at a mini paddle and ball game, and even design using maize mosaic blocks.
5. Join a free play session at Smigy
If your kids have yet to check out Smigy’s outlet at Forum The Shopping Mall, this is their chance to do so. The popular indoor playground is giving kids a 15-minute free play session, so don’t miss this chance to check it out (look out for the cow milking and fishing stations!).

6. Embark on a LEGO and robotics adventure with Children’s Worklab

Love LEGO and robotics? Children’s Worklab is giving kids a sneak peek into the exciting world of engineering, robotics, design, and technology during the Kids Extravaganza weekend. This is a hands-on experience that your little inventors won’t want to miss: it’s an engaging way to introduce STEM to them, and you get to see for yourselves what Children’s Worklab has to offer.

7. Design your dream bedroom with FLEXA by Mobelstory
It’s time to get those creative juices flowing and let the kids’ imagination run wild. Aspiring little interior designers can build their dream bedroom at FLEXA by Mobelstory’s workshop, putting together a ‘dream board’ of cool decorations, funky furniture, and – let’s not forget – their must-have toys!

8. Escape to faraway lands with Julia Gabriel

Everyone loves a good story, especially our kiddos. Senior educators from Julia Gabriel will be putting on an immersive storytelling session based on Mo Willems’ popular Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus book. Expect lots of LOL moments along with music, songs, and a funny voice or two.

9. Challenge yourself with exciting games by Mathnasium
Think maths is boring? Think again. Mathnasium is turning numbers into adventures with its thrilling hands-on games, such as tangrams, marshmallows-spaghetti tower building, and crafting pyramid kites. And if the kids are up for a challenge, the math enrichment centre is also organising a mall-wide maths puzzle challenge which they can join to see if they have what it takes to be a maths champion!

10. Catch an interactive magic show by Max Ling
Be ready to be swept into a world of enchanted wonders with award-winning magician, Max Ling. Spot the mischief in his card trick, investigate the case of The Great Lemon Mystery, watch ancient magic unfold in the water bowl enchantment performance, and be amazed by Max’s magical abilities.
When: 18 May, 3-4pm
11. Move together with The Dance Station
Calling all aspiring ballerinas – The Dance Station is offering complimentary mini ballet classes. This is the perfect opportunity for the kiddos to have a taste of what it’s like before starting their ballet journey. Or if they prefer K-Pop, the dance school will be putting up a daebak show too.
