Looking for a way to keep the kids off the couch and on their feet? Check out The Grandstand’s cool holiday camp
Parents, you know you’re with us when we say that the year’s just whizzed on by! It feels like summer’s just ended and BAM – it’s almost Christmas. And you know it’s time to keep the kids occupied during the year-end holidays! In between prepping for the festive season and making sure the little ones stay off the ‘naughty’ list, you’re going to need some pretty fun activities to keep them from tearing your house apart. Don’t worry, The Grandstand’s got you covered with their annual two-day holiday camp for kids ages three to 12, happening this November and December. The best part? Kids can try out a multitude of different activities per day!
Several activities in one day? Yas!
Got a child who just wants to try everything? The Grandstand’s two-day holiday camp lets kids try a wide variety of classes. From taekwondo and Lego building to drum lessons and language classes, gymnastics and art classes, they’ll be able to try all these in one day!
Drum lessons with Drum Tutor
Is your little one tired of playing with their makeshift drums (otherwise known as your dining table or your mum-tum)? They’ll learn how to break down grooves and follow rhythms at Drum Tutor!
Robot making and more with Bricks 4 Kidz
Most kids love tinkering with their Duplo or Lego bricks, so we recommend signing them up for Bricks 4 Kidz, where your little ones can make the coolest robots, vehicles and whatever their hearts desire with an unlimited supply of the good, coloured stuff.
Learn Chinese… the fun way at Yang Language School
Learning a language has never been so fun! At Yang Language School, your kids can expect stimulating, interactive activities that’ll get them saying “xie xie” in no time.
Kick it at J H Kim Taekwondo
Get the basics of blocking, striking and kicking down pat at JH Kim Taekwondo. It’s also a great way for kids to get some basic self-defense techniques from their experienced instructors.
Cartwheels and more with GIM Sports
If you have a budding gymnast on your hands, the folks over at GIM Sports will teach kiddos tips and tricks on how to gain flexibility and strength for gymnastics. And don’t worry – classes are grouped by skill level.
Gymnastics 101 with Bubbles Gymnastics
Having a little one who’s doing flips off your couch can be a little nerve wracking, which is why it’s best to leave it to the professionals. At Bubbles Gymnastics, kids as young as three and all the way up to 12 can get their first taste of gymnastics and more.
Make your own Christmas tree at The LPN Art School
There’s no doubt about it, everyone loves a sweet treat, especially when it’s been crafted with love by your little bub. We hear the kids will be baking adorable Christmas cake pops under the guidance of the super chefs at Learning ArtZ this holiday season.
